Towards the end of summer we spent a weekend at Walcott, a small village on the Norfolk coast. It’d be a bleak place to spend a winter; the North Sea cuts along this part of the coast with some ferocity, both the sea itself and the vicious breeze. Happily things were much balmier during our stay, so the sea break didn’t have much to do other than look photogenic.
We found ourselves with some brief but welcome company in the shape of this hyperactive dog. This was about as still as he got. Dogs are the best.
As we walked the sunset warmed the light up nicely, though with Norfolk facing east, the sun was setting over the land behind us.
