Shots from the road: A glimpse of Iguazu Falls

There’s really only one reason to head to Puerto Iguazu – the incredible waterfalls that split Brazil and Argentina. We visited from both countries (well worth doing), but these views are from the Argentinian side. The scale of the falls is immense; up to 300 separate cascades spill over a long, curving ridge at any one time, culminating in the spectacular Devil’s Throat.

  1. Your photos remind me of the incredible noise of the water. I’ve been three times now but never with a good camera, these pics do it justice. Thanks for sharing.

    1. Thank you! Yes the noise is as extraordinary as the sight of it. Lots more pictures of it all to come once I’m home, but there’s only so much you can do with a tablet and dodgy Internet connection…
