From Ushuaia we left for El Calafate, further north in Patagonia. Our main reason for staying here was a trip to the stunning Perito Moreno glacier – a vast, crunching flow of ice that creaks its way into Lago Argentina from the Southern Patagonian ice field.
The glacier is one of South America’s most famous sights – and with reason. It’s absolutely spectacular.
There’s a larger collection of shots in my Perito Moreno Flickr set.
